Small Tea

When an entrepreneur and tea import expert came to us with the vision of creating a new tea culture in the US, we knew it would be special. Together we envisioned transforming our coffee-drenched, fast-paced, jittery society into a place where people can sip slower, get to know bliss, and feel connected; creating a brand that brings ancient tea qualities and benefits to a modern, more health-conscience world.

The goal was to embody these tea attributes and offerings to the public through its teas and a shop where you can unapologetically experience bliss and calm.

Opportunity→

We needed to not only share the benefits of tea, but communicate to a big coffee audience hooked on a caffeinated lifestyle, and we had a blank slate to start. The name, brand, design, and visuals of this venture had to be consistent and cohesive if the messaging was to take hold and grow.

Result→

The Small Tea Company was created. An alternative to 'big coffee', we created, designed, and developed everything from the manifesto, the brand ID and supporting icons, packaging systems for over 85 tea varietals, restaurant and take-home provisions and materials, business systems, exterior and interior store signage and design support, marketing materials and a brand standards guide to hold it all together. From start to finish, a complete brand development project through to the design and messaging at every customer touchpoint.
