Things are going to get emotional.

There’s no other way, really.

Brands can’t succeed on “selling points” alone. Nope. Emotion is the real juice. The decision influencer. The not-so-secret weapon that transforms mere products into living brands that understand your life and make it more meaningful. And we’re here for it. All of it.

Sally Morrow Creative swims in the deep end — that thrilling, curious, unpredictable place where emotions strike chords, pluck heartstrings and let you feel those feelings. We do branding, identity, packaging, print and environmental work that’s infused with values and verve and visual appeal. And we lead with empathy to help brands forge bonds that help folks get excited today, fall in love tomorrow and stay loyal for years.

A high-diversity, low-drama operation.

We’re a woman and minority-owned business (more of those, please) that consists precisely of two experienced principals and a whip-smart project manager:

Sally Morrow

Thinker/Designer/Creative Director/Owner

Graphic Design/Package Design, ArtCenter College of Design

A creative industry leader with more than 30 years of experience, Sally’s work spans everything from food and beverage, software and technology, sports apparel and footwear to personal care products. In 2013 she left an accolade-filled agency career (ColemanSouter, Cole & Weber, Sandstrom Partners) to fuse smart strategy with emotive brand design as Sally Morrow Creative. “Check out the work we’ve done,” she suggests. “If you like those brands, you’ll probably like us — or vice versa.”

David Morrow

Thinker/Strategist/Connector/ Owner

Business Economics, Westmont College

David is the creative pragmatist who makes sure all that brand emotion rides shotgun with sound business strategy for the road ahead. He’s contributed to the success of Nike, PepsiCo, The Gap, Columbia Sportswear, Autodesk and many others, and sees strategy’s role as a stage-setter for powerful brand stories more interestingly told. With an eye on both marketing and operations, he likes to say, “Creativity isn’t a department. It’s an ongoing opportunity.”

Jill Raleigh

Thinker/Project Manager/Production Manager

Marketing, University of Montana

Sharp, unflappable and incredibly responsive, Jill is the grease that keeps our project gears cranking. She’s spent time at agencies, with design firms, and as a freelancer, wielding a deep skill set that includes sourcing, estimation, budgeting and scheduling, proofreading, vendor management and production. “There are so many moving parts to even a small project,” she admits, “but when the process is efficient, that creates more time and space for the magic to happen.”

Sally Morrow Creative is a Brand Design and Packaging Agency in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR

Awarded by

The Walter Collective Modern Spirits / CEO Matt Melaik:

“David, Sally and Jill have been such a pleasure to work with over these past years. I have the utmost respect and admiration for these people. Truly wonderful people! Very results-oriented as well. There is a professional and proactive project management mindset. Creativity meets results! ”

Life is short.

Let’s make something alive with purpose. You in?
